Rosetta Stone® features 12 or 20 units of content, depending on the language. Each unit emphasizes different vocabulary and language skills.

 



Units 1-4: These units help to build a foundation of fundamental vocabulary and essential language structure. Vocabulary and skills emphasized include: 

  • Greetings and Introductions
  • Simple questions and answers

  • Listening comprehension skills
  • Basic reading and writing skills

 



Units 5-8: These units allow learners to navigate their surroundings as they build on the vocabulary and essential language structure in units 1-4. Vocabulary and skills emphasized include:

  • Birth, marriage, death, and concerns related to one's health and body
