The speech recognition isn’t working on my Learn Languages with Rosetta Stone. How can I fix this?

If you’re experiencing issues with speech recognition on your Learn Languages with Rosetta Stone™ app, please go to the settings and check in Speech Setting as below:
  • the speech is marked “on”
  • the proper voice type is selected (Male/Female/Child)
  • the speech precision level

Note: we recommend that you can use the app  in a location that is quiet with a good signal as well as headset with microphone.

Troubleshooting tips for speech recognition issues
  • Scenario for background noise
    • Please verify if you currently use the app with a headset with microphone. If no headset is available, then please move to a quieter place if possible.
  • Scenario for no voice is detected
    • Please verify if you are using a headset.
      • If yes, then please check to make sure it is fully plugged in
    • Please review your signal strength bar on the device.
      • If low (showing 0-1 bars), then please move to another location to improve this signal.
