When I open my Rosetta Stone Version 3, the screen minimizes immediately. How can I resolve this?

We received reports that some customers cannot use Rosetta Stone Version 3 because the program opens and then minimizes immediately. To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:

Windows:

  1. Start Rosetta Stone and wait for it to minimize
  2. Right-click the Rosetta Stone item on your taskbar (between the Start button and your clock)
    • In the menu that appears, click Maximize
  3. Right-click the item in your taskbar again
    • In the menu that appears, click Close
  4. Start Rosetta Stone again

Mac:

  1. Start Rosetta Stone and wait for it to minimize
  2. On your menu bar (at the top of the screen), click Window > Zoom
  3. At the top of the window that appears, click the green circle (with the + icon)
  4. On the menu bar, click Rosetta Stone > Quit Rosetta Stone
  5. Start Rosetta Stone again
