The speech recognition isn't working on my Apple device. How can I fix this?

Here are a few suggestions to make sure your speech recognition feature is working:

  • Check your microphone to make sure it's plugged in properly (3rd generation users only; 4th generation devices have built in microphone)
  • Confirm your speech setting is turned on in the Learn Languages: Rosetta Stone app. ¬†Click on settings- the gear icon at the lower right. ¬†Select Speech Settings and confirm the Speech Recognition is turned on.
