TELL ME MORE - How can I test my sound card in Windows Vista, 7, 8 or 10 ?
Thanks to Windows Sound Recorder, you can test the quality of the sounds recorded and played by your computer.
1. Go to Start / All Programs / Accessories / Sound Recorder.
2. Click on the red dot to start recording and speak into the microphone at a normal speed and volume.
3. Click on the black square to stop recording and choose a place to save the file you just recorded.
4. Listen to your recording using Windows Media Player or another audio player. Simply right-click on the file you created and select Open with / Windows Media Player.
If you don’t hear any sound, or if you are not satisfied with the quality of the sound, record yourself again while changing the distance between your mouth and the microphone. If you don’t notice any improvement, it could mean that there is a problem with your sound card.
We recommend that you contact the customer service center of the store you purchased your computer from.
