Registering Learners


Below are the steps to setting up learners in the Advanced English for Business Admin Tools portal.  If you’d like to view videos regarding these steps, please click here.

Adding Learners Individually:

1. Sign in to https://login.rosettastone.com/#/login using your Administrator ID.  

2. Click on the "Users" tab from the left hand menu bar. You will automatically see any learners that have been previously registered. 

3. Click on the Add Users icon in the upper right side of the screen (see below) and choose "Add a user".

4. Add the information in the available fields.  The required fields are: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Interface Language. You may use the optional User Fields and Notes section to capture additional learner information such as phone number, region/location, department name, etc.

5. Click "Save".

Adding Learners by Importing

1. Click on the Add Users icon and choose "Import users".

2. Copy the learner import spreadsheet information into this screen or type in the learner information into the spreadsheet. Required Fields are: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Interface Language. You may use the optional User Fields and Notes section to capture additional learner information such as phone number, region/location, department name, etc.

Note: If you choose to type in your information, be sure that your column headings match exactly to the above screen shot (First Name, Last Name, Email, etc.). 
 
3. After the data is submitted, you are taken to the Import Wizard tool. If there are any issues (in red), you will be alerted here.

4. You can click in the learner’s row that needs modification and their individual profile will open for you to make changes. Once you see that all learners are ready, click on "Import" at the bottom right.

If you decide that anything needs to be changed you can make an inline edit by simply double clicking the field that needs to be changed.

Assign Licenses to Learners

1. Now you must assign licenses to your new learners. Without this step, they will not gain access to Rosetta Stone training. You can assign licenses to all your learners at one time or a select group of learners by clicking in the box beside their name.

2. Click on  User-added imagewhich allows you to assign a license to multiple users simultaneously.  Choose "Assign Licenses" to assign the licenses to the new learners.

3. From the Select Product screen, select the license type you will assign to the new learners. You will see a ticker at the bottom of the screen to let you know the status of the operation.  If you have a large number of licenses to assign, it may take several seconds.

Note: If a bulk assignment is cancelled in the middle of the process, licenses that were already assigned will not be rolled back. 
 
4. Now you are ready to alert learners that it is time to begin! To do so, the next step is to send the welcome email. Click on the envelope icon.

Learners are now ready to begin!
