I get a gray screen when trying to install my Language Levels.

If you are seeing a gray screen after you click Install Selected Language, this may be caused by low hard drive space.

If you open up your program and receive a persistent yellow screen, here's how to fix it.

Here's how to fix it:

Check your hard drive space. Rosetta Stone requires 600mb per Language Level.

If you are on Windows XP, Vista or 7, please click here.
If you are on Windows 8 or 10, please click here.
If you are on Mac OS X, please click here.

If you’re on Windows XP, Vista, or 7:

1. Click Start , and Computer (or My Computer).

2. Right-click on your (C:) drive and click Properties .

3. If you have fewer than 600mb Free space per level then you will need remove unwanted files/programs or add additional hard drive space.

    4. Attempt to install after ensuring you have enough space.
     

    If you’re on Windows 8 or 10:

    1. Click on the File Folder User-added image at the bottom of the screen and then on This PC or Computer.

    2. Right-click on your (C:) drive and click Properties .

    3. If you have fewer than 600mb Free space per level then you will need remove unwanted files/programs or add additional hard drive space.

      4. Attempt to install after ensuring you have enough space.
       

      If you’re on Mac OS X:

      1. Go to your desktop and control + click on Mac HD .

      2. Click Get Info .

      3. If you have fewer than 600mb Available space per level then you will need remove unwanted files/programs or add additional hard drive space.

        4. Attempt to install after ensuring you have enough space.
