Black Screen when Logging into Learn Languages


After you log into totale.rosettastone.com, you receive a black screen and your home page does not appear. This is due to Flash being blocked by Safari security settings.


Black screen on Safari


Flash needs to be allowed to function in the Safari security settings. To do this, click on Safari in the upper left-hand corner and choose "Preferences."


Options


Next, choose the "Security" tab and click "Plug-in Settings" next to Internet plug-ins:

Here, you will see Adobe Flash Player is "off."

Click the empty checkbox next to Adobe Flash Player to activate the option. You should see "totale.rosettastone.com" appear in the window on the right. Click "Off" to then choose the option "On" and then click "Done."


Allowing Flash


After completing these steps, you can close Safari, reopen it, and log into totale.rosettastone.com with no issues.
