Why do I need to provide my child's grade in Rosetta Stone Reading for Homeschool?

Grade is used during Auto Placement to start the student's assessment with on-grade-level skills. During this assessment, students will be presented with easier or more difficult questions depending on their performance. The student will eventually be placed in the program at the level that matches their skills – this may be on, above or below grade-level.

Grade is also used by the program to determine how far or how close students are to mastery of grade level skills. Rosetta Stone Reading for Homeschool provides predictors for the likelihood the student will master grade level skills by the "end" of the school year. It also provides a prescription for program usage that will enhance the student's chance of meeting end of year goals.
