When I type my Activation ID the letters do not match the keys I press.

This is caused by a security program that encrypts your keystrokes. Here are some programs that can cause this:

- GuardedID

- IDVault

- KeyGhost

If you are using Windows XP, please click here.

If you are using Windows Vista or 7, please click here.

If you are using Windows 8 or 10, please click here.

If you're using Windows XP, please follow the instructions below:

1. Click Start , then Control Panel.

3 . Double-click Add or Remove Programs.

4. Attempt to locate one of the following programs:

  • GuardedID
  • IDVault
  • Keyghost

5. Click on the program, and select Remove .

Note: If you need this application please contact the software manufacturer for additional assistance.

6. Once the program has been removed, restart your computer and attempt to activate again.

If you're using Windows Vista or Windows 7, please follow the instructions below:

1. Click Start

2. Click Control Panel.

3. Under Programs, then click Uninstall a program .

4. Attempt to locate one of the following programs:

  • GuardedID
  • IDVault
  • Keyghost

5. Click on the program, and select Remove or Uninstall .

Note: If you need this application please contact the software manufacturer for additional assistance.

6. Once the program has been removed, restart your computer and attempt to activate again.


If you're using Windows 8 or 10, please follow the instructions below:

1. Press the Windows Key on your computer, and start typing Control Panel and press Enter.

2. Under Programs, click Uninstall a program .

3. Attempt to locate one of the following programs:

  • GuardedID
  • IDVault
  • Keyghost

4. Click on the program, and select Remove or Uninstall .

5. Once the program has been removed, restart your computer and attempt to activate again.
