TELL ME MORE - How can I improve the playback sound quality in Windows XP?

To improve the sound quality of TELL ME MORE recordings (Dialogue, Video, etc.), open the Volume Control (go to Start / All Programs / Accessories / Multimedia or Entertainment / Volume Control or double-click on the speaker next to the clock in the Windows task bar).

In the Options / Properties menu, select Playback, select the Microphone and Line In boxes, and then click on OK.

Then click the Mute box of these two elements.

Note: If you want to hear your voice through the speakers, do not select Mute for Microphone.

If you don’t notice any improvement, check to make sure that your sound card is working correctly by clicking here.
