Rosetta Stone recently updated the applications on the iOS, Android, and Web. You'll learn about the changes here so you get can get back to learning your new language quickly.

Learn Languages with Rosetta Stone (iOS)

The iOS app interface hasn’t changed much but we’ve introduced three new features that focus on all aspects of your new language: Phrasebook, Stories, and Audio Companion.

Tap on the Menu at the top right to access Extended Learning

Learn Languages CD-ROM

The locally installed application remains the same with no updates. However, launching the online features will place you in the Online application which looks drastically different. Learn more about the Online changes.

Learn Languages Online (web)

Rosetta Stone wants your language learning journey to be a success so we’re always looking for ways to do just that. Here’s a quick list of changes and similarities and then we’ll go into detail:
  • A totally new look
  • Phrasebooks added
  • Menus in a different location
  • All other features are intact such as Chat, Games, Language Training, TruAccent speech recognition, and Live Tutoring.
As soon as you sign in you'll notice the difference. Click Start Course or any of the exercises to begin learning.

With the addition of Phrasebook, we've changed the menus a little bit as seen at the top of the window wherever you are in the application:

Learn Languages with Rosetta Stone (Android)

The Android app available on the Google Play store has updated to make navigation easier.
A quick list of changes and similarities in the update:
  • A totally new look
  • Menus in a different location
  • All other features are intact such as Language Training, TruAccent speech recognition, and Unit download for use without internet connectivity.
Here's how to get started:
  • The home screen as been updated for easier navigation.

  • If you're not already placed into your next lesson, tap on a Unit and then tap on the exercise.

  • From within an exercise, you can tap the Eye to show the answers.

  • Tap the Pause button if you want to skip around, pause the activity, or exit the exercise.
