Rosetta Stone® Program Overview Series

The recorded sessions below are designed to give you a deeper understanding of your Rosetta Stone solution, as well as the functions you can perform as an administrator though the Administrator Tools. Feel free to view all or one of the sessions, as many times as you would like. 

Below, you will find a short description of each session and a link to its corresponding recording, which is available for you to watch at a time that is convenient for you.

Session 1: Technical Requirements and Initial Rosetta Stone Manager™ Setup
Review the technical requirements for computer setup that are imperative to a successful implementation. Rosetta Stone Manager is introduced, including setups based on different scenarios.

Session 2a: Language Lessons - Introduction to the Rosetta Stone Solution
Review in detail the key components of the Rosetta Stone Language Lessons solution. In addition, best practices and implementation models are suggested.

Session 2b: Rosetta Stone Foundations for Business, Public Sector, and Higher Education - Introduction to the Rosetta Stone Solution
Review in detail the key components of the Rosetta Stone Foundations solution. In addition, best practices and implementation models are suggested. 

Session 2c: Rosetta Stone Foundations for K-12 - Introduction to the Rosetta Stone Solution
Review in detail the key components of the Rosetta Stone Foundations solution. In addition, best practices and implementation models are suggested.

Session 2d: Rosetta Stone Foundations for K-12 with Live Tutoring - Introduction to the Rosetta Stone Solution
Review in detail the key components of the Rosetta Stone Foundations for K-12 with Live Tutoring solution.  In addition, best practices and implementation models are suggested.

Session 3: Benchmarking, Lesson Planning and Reporting for an Effective Implementation
Learn how to create benchmarks using the Rosetta Stone Lesson Planning tool for your Rosetta Stone solution. Analyze learner reports from Rosetta Stone Manager and compare the data against established benchmarks.

Session 4: Implementing through Blended Learning Instructional Models and Differentiating Instruction
Define models for blended learning in various classroom situations. Discuss resources and best practices tailored for students of different levels of achievement.

Session 5: Change Management with Grading and Assessing Learner Performance
Explore how to use benchmarks to monitor and manage learner progress through Rosetta Stone Manager Explore assigning grades to learners based on reports from Rosetta Stone Manager.

Outcomes: After completion of this session, the participant will be able to:
  • Explain the value of benchmarking for keeping learners on track
  • Understand how to use the Rosetta Stone Lesson Planning tool
  • Create lesson plans using the Lesson Planning tool based on goals, needs and environments for different learners and groups
  • Generate and understand key reports from Rosetta Manager
  • Identify key supplemental resources available for differentiating instruction

Session 4: Implementing through Blended Learning Instructional Models and Differentiating Instruction

Outcomes: After completion of this session, the participant will be able to:
  • Explain the features and benefits of blended learning for learners and teachers
  • Understand several standard blended models, noting similarities, differences, and best use cases
  • Discuss lesson plan possibilities, incorporating a blended learning approach
  • Evaluate current classroom models and determine best approach to incorporate blended learning

Session 5: Change Management with Grading and Assessing Learner Performance

Outcomes: After completion of this session, the participant will be able to:

  • Compare and adjust benchmarks based on learner environment
  • Review available tools/resources to support areas of opportunity and keep learners engaged, motivated, and challenge
  • Explore best practices in assigning grades to learners based on reports from Rosetta Stone Manager
  • Define grading guidelines to include Rosetta Stone components; consider other potential grading models and activities to incorporate in learner evaluations
