Getting started in Rosetta Stone with previous language experience

If you have previous experience with the language you are learning with Rosetta Stone, you can use the Course Contents to find an appropriate place to continue your learning journey in the program. The Course Contents is a document that contains all of the material from the Core Lessons in Language Training, written out in your target language. Utilizing this document allows you to better understand your current language skills in reference to Language Training, and can be useful in helping you move to a level that best lines up with your prior knowledge.

If you opt to move to a higher level in the program for this reason, we recommend that you begin with the first Core Lesson, not in the middle of a level. We also suggest that you complete the Review lessons of the levels that you've skipped, which are denoted by star icons in the Language Training learning path on your program home screen. The Review lessons are a quick review of a given section in the course. Completing them will not only give you a refresher of elementary language skills but will also give you the opportunity to learn any vocabulary you may not be familiar with.

Once you have found a place to begin, be sure to complete the lessons as they are presented to you.

Click here to access the Course Contents: Language Training Course Contents
