Adjustable Learner Settings in Rosetta Stone Foundations

Adjustable Learner Settings in Rosetta Stone® Foundations

Certain offerings of Rosetta Stone Foundations allow learners to personalize their own settings in the program.

What does this mean?
  • Learners can change their speech precision setting.
  • Learners can select the appropriate headset to use.
  • Learners may opt to disable speech recognition for the session if they do not have an available USB headset or if it is not convenient or possible to speak in the learner's environment.
Learners can personalize their own settings by opening the program, launching an activity and clicking User-added image on the top tool bar. This will open up the preferences window shown below:

If a learner chooses to disable speech recognition for their session, this will be indicated in the reporting in Rosetta Stone Manager. For more information on how speaking exercises are scored when speech is disabled, please click HERE.
