Making sure your Rosetta Stone application is up-to-date is a great way to fix a technical problem or prevent one.
Windows users: If you already have Rosetta Stone Version 3.4.5 installed, you do not need to install the 3.4.7 update.
Mac users: If you have Rosetta Stone Version 3.4.5, you have the latest update and will not be prompted to download 3.4.7.

Checking Your Version Number
If you already have Rosetta Stone Version 3.4.7 on a Windows PC, running this update will remove Rosetta Stone files from your computer. Check to see to see which version you have:
- Open Rosetta Stone
- Click the
button, on the top-right of the screen - Click About Rosetta Stone.
- If you have Version 3.4.7 on Windows, stop following these instructions. If you proceed, you may lose your progress.

If you have Windows, you'll need to delete any Rosetta Stone Version 3 Desktop shortcuts (and Windows 7 taskbar shortcuts) before installing this update.

Updating Rosetta Stone Version 3
- Close Rosetta Stone.
- Download the update for Rosetta Stone Version 3 - 3.4.5 (Mac OS X)
Download the update for Rosetta Stone Version 3 - 3.4.7 (Windows)
- To install the update, double-click on the file you downloaded and follow the installation instructions.
