Rosetta Stone® Language Learning Upgrade FAQ (US market only)


You've been using our award-winning Rosetta Course® in your Version 2 or Version 3 CD-ROM Personal Edition product to awaken your language learning abilities. In Rosetta Stone Language Learning (formerly Version 4) we strive to enhance your skills by bringing real-time conversation into your home and applications to your mobile devices so that immersion is never out of reach!

I have a Version 3 CD-ROM

The Rosetta Stone Language Learning - upgrade includes exciting new online features in an introductory 1, 3, 6, or 9 months of online access for one user.

How do I upgrade from Rosetta Stone® Version 3 CD-ROM to Rosetta Stone® Language Learning - CD-ROM?

How long will it take to install the Rosetta Stone® Language Learning - upgrade?
The time for installation varies between computers, however, you should expect less than one hour to download and install the upgrade.

How many computers can I use Rosetta Stone® Language Learning on?
We understand that most learners use more than one computer. With that in mind, Language Learning - CD-ROM can be installed and activated on up to two computers. For more information, please refer to our Language Learning - CD-ROM End User License Agreement .

How many users can use the program? What do they have access to?
The program allows for two activations and can support up to five accounts per activation. Language Learning - CD-ROM upgrade provides an introductory 1,3,6, or 9 months of online features for one user and any additional users will have access to Rosetta Course®. Additional users also have the option to purchase online subscriptions through My Account.
 
What if I have multiple Version 3 CD-ROM products for different languages?
No problem! Each Language Learning - CD-ROM upgrade will apply to one Version 3 CD-ROM language. You're welcome to upgrade multiple languages. You will only need to download and install the upgrade once. You'll be prompted for multiple upgrade codes at the Product Activation window.

Will I be able to get more support if I purchase an upgrade?
Yes!  As long as your product is supported by Rosetta Stone®, you'll get chat, email, and knowledge base support.  If you purchase an upgrade, you'll also receive 3 months of phone support, and you'll continue to get phone support for as long as you have Online Access.  
 


I have a Version 2 CD-ROM

The  Language Learning - upgrade includes exciting new program that includes an introductory 3 months of new online features for one user.

How do I Upgrade from Rosetta Stone Version 2 CD-ROM to Rosetta Stone Language Learning?
You can take advantage of this upgrade by calling Customer Care at (800) 280-8172 and selecting Option 2.

If I have Version 2, how many users can use the Rosetta Stone Language Learning (formerly Version 4) program? What do they have access to?

Additional Upgrade Features

What apps are available for use with Rosetta Stone®?
Rosetta Stone® offers apps for use on the iPhone, iPad, and supported Android devices. Please click here to check out additional supported devices.

What happens when the subscription expires?
When the subscription expires, you are able to purchase additional online access through My Account. It is not a requirement to purchase the online access to use the Rosetta Course.

Is my upgrade permanent?
Yes, the Language Learning - upgrade is a permanent upgrade. Rosetta Course® is unlimited as long as it is installed and activated on your computer.
